Culture Vulture takes off
I APOLOGISE in advance if I burst into song during the course of this blog.
It's a resolution I had in my previous post writing for The Vale Advertiser and Your Vale newspapers, and unfortunately, I failed miserably. Now, in my new role here on the North Wales Weekly News, I've been asked to keep my finger on the pulse of music, arts and culture across the region, but not to join bands on stage for dodgy live gigs.
My particularly poor bid at rock stardom can still be seen here on the site of The Denbighshire Visitor, our sister paper. I still confess it wasn't brilliant but it did highlight the talent out there in North Wales, and that's where Culture Vulture takes off.
Culture Vulture is a look at all the latest developments both across North Wales and further afield; not just in music, but arts, drama, film, and just about anything else besides. It won't just be writing either, as I'm looking for videos, MP3s and pictures to really show off the wonders of Welsh creativity.
And I want to hear your views too. If you'd like to send in your reviews, share your art with the world or just have your say on what's happening in North Wales, we'd love you to get in touch.
If you'd like to see your cultural contributions taking centre stage with the North Wales Weekly News, contact me on 01492 574345 or email david.simister@northwalesnews.co.uk.

Oh my, that video is a treat. If I was there my knickers might have ended up thrown onto the stage.
